FAQ

General

Is there on-site support?

During the trail, you’ll always hike with experienced Dutch-speaking and local guides. They’ll provide the right support, clear guidance, and extra tips along the way. You’ll also receive a morning briefing every day with practical info and key points for the day ahead.

You’ll start and finish each day together as a group. Along the way, you’ll have some freedom, and the guides will spread out across the group. You’ll always hike between the guides, and we recommend not straying too far from them, as there are no arrows or trail markers along the route. That way, it stays adventurous — but above all, safe and worry-free.

You will also be given access to a chat group with all the other participants departing on the same date just before you set off. You can use this group to chat with each other or with our team.

What kind of footwear is required for the hike?

High-top hiking boots are mandatory. Low-cut walking shoes, running shoes, trainers, or other low-cut footwear are not permitted. The terrain is often uneven and challenging, so high-top hiking boots are required to provide adequate ankle support and reduce the risk of injury.
